Seth Rollins Says Hulk Hogan Has Always Been Nice To Him "But That Doesn’t Make Him A Great Human Being"

Seth Rollins has shared his thoughts on his Mount Rushmore of WWE Superstars, and while he's acknowledged Hulk Hogan's contributions to the business, he doesn't have anything nice to say about the Hulkster...

A few years ago, a video was leaked online which featured WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan making a series of racist comments. He was temporarily removed from the company's Legends roster, but returned not too long ago after WWE decided enough time had passed (Hogan also reportedly apologised to everyone backstage, though his words weren't enough for many Superstars).

Now, after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame again, Hogan is hosting the two-night WrestleMania this weekend. It is what it is, but Seth Rollins doesn't seem to have a particularly high opinion of the Hulkster outside of his undeniably impressive contributions to the wrestling business.

Talking about his WWE Mount Rushmore, Rollins told The Complex Sports Podcast (via Wrestling Inc.) that he'd put Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bruno Sammartino, and Hogan on that. However, after singling out Shawn Michaels as his all-time favourite wrestler, he quickly bumped Hogan off the list.

"Shawn’s my favorite wrestler of all time, but we’re talking about contributions to WWE and what they’ve meant to the business, and look, if it were up to me, in that situation, I would scratch Hogan off that sucker probably," Rollins explained. "But again, if we’re just talking not the kind of human being you are but we’re talking about your contributions as a wrestler to the company, okay, Hogan was responsible for everything that happened after the late ’80s."

"Look, Hulk’s always been really nice to me, but that doesn’t make him a great human being."

Clearly, Rollins doesn't have a particularly high opinion of Hogan, but he's certainly not the only one. There's no denying that Hogan brought a lot to the table as a wrestler, but beyond that...well, what he said is hard to forgive and probably never will be by many current WWE Superstars.
