In recent months, it's been clear that Seth Rollins' popularity is waning. Between his controversial remarks on social media and the fact fans are behind The Fiend, something needs to happen to give the Universal Champion his edge back and most agree that a heel turn would be the smartest move.
Well, in a post-
RAW interview with WWE's YouTube channel, Rollins has taken aim at fans saying that "there’s been a lot of disrespect going around lately, I feel like."
"He’s cool man," Rollins said, referencing Bray Wyatt. "He’s fresh and he’s new and he’s got this cult following and that just puts a chip on my shoulder. I just feel like I’m out here every single week, busting my back, breaking my back, putting the whole company on my back sometimes and I don’t get the respect I deserve because there’s this new flavor of ice cream."
"The dude’s scary, I get that too. I don’t know what it’s gonna take at Crown Jewel to put him away but I’m gonna do whatever takes to survive and prevail." This definitely feels like it could be the start of a heel turn for Rollins and if he beats Wyatt at Crown Jewel, you can guarantee that fans will be booing him in a big way moving forward regardless of how he's portrayed on screen.
What do you guys think?
