This week's episode of Raw got underway with Seth Rollins and The AOP, and the Architect cut a promo referring to himself as a "leader" and a "visionary." Rollins also said that he had another score to settle, and that the WWE Universe was not going to like it.
Fast-forward to a Gauntlet Match to decide the next challenger for Rey Mysterio's US Title (which turned out to be utterly pointless), and Rey made the save when Andrade hit his DDT on Umberto Carrillo on the concrete floor. This effectively ended the match, but Rollins and the AOP cut Mysterio off on his way to the back and mercilessly beat him down in the ring.
Why? Well, Rey gave Kevin Owens that steel pipe to use on the Authors last week.
Afterwards, Seth challenged Mysterio for his title in a match next Monday, and the legendary luchador accepted.
