The WWE Draft is at an end (read the recap from last night's RAW by clicking here), but some big names have been left without a home. Asuka, Bayley, Eva Marie, and Lacey Evans weren't included, though Evans is heavily pregnant and Bayley is expected to be sidelined until 2022 with an injury.
Asuka is not medically cleared, while Eva Marie has been written out of storylines; we don't know why, but it could be that Eva is going to be repackaged or has a film or TV role she's taking some time off for.
Dakota Kai also wasn't drafted, and on the men's side, there are seemingly no plans for Slapjack (Shane Thorne), Elias, Lince Dorado, and Gran Metalik. It was recently reported that the latter two are unhappy with their role in the company, so chances are they're waiting on being wished the best with their future endeavours.
It's a little odd to see Elias left out, especially as it was just a few weeks ago that WWE was airing vignettes to hype his return with a new gimmick.
Another big story to come out of the WWE Draft - via PWInsider - is that the company planned to split up The Street Profits. Montez Ford and Bianca Belair were going to move to RAW, with Angelo Dawkins left on SmackDown. That would be a huge mistake given what a popular tag team they are, and it's good that WWE ultimately saw sense.
Keep checking back here for updates on the WWE Draft as we have them.
