Shane McMahon And The Miz Teamed Up On SMACKDOWN LIVE To Battle "The Vegas Boys"

The Miz is still trying to make a partnership with SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon happen and things took a weird turn last night when they "teamed up" to battle Indy wrestlers The Vegas Boys.

It's hard to say where on Earth this storyline is heading but during last night's SmackDown Live, The Miz once again managed to trick Shane McMahon into teaming with him against a couple of unknown Indy wrestlers. Things played out better this time, though, as McMahon was able to pick up a submission victory but clearly wasn't best pleased to have been cajoled into a match.

Backstage, Paige was livid with The Miz's actions and McMahon doesn't seem to be at all interested in pairing up with the A-Lister so they can be the "best in the world" together after Crown Jewel.

It's plausible that WWE is planning to have these two face each other at WrestleMania but they're certainly playing the long game if that's the case and many fans would prefer to see The Miz take on Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship, especially as a babyface Miz would definitely work right now. What do you guys think? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section.
