For reasons which aren't entirely clear, WWE continues giving Shane McMahon the spotlight and after back to back victories over The Miz, he'll now face Roman Reigns at Super ShowDown. Last night, their feud continued playing out as "the Best in the World" took on one of Roman Reigns' cousins, Lance A'naoi.
After Drew McIntyre gave him a beating, Lance put up a good fight but ultimately lost the "match" after making him tap out.
As the beatdown continued, Roman finally make an appearance and very nearly managed to hit Shane with a Spear before Drew was able to save him. Shane's promo was met with "Boring" chants and the match received "This is Awful" chants which just goes to show that fans really aren't embracing any of this.
With any luck, Shane will once again take a backstage role following Super ShowDown because these matches/storylines really aren't that great!
