At Crown Jewel, Shawn Michaels teamed up with Triple H to take on The Undertaker and Kane in a tag team match. At the time, he made it clear that depending on how he fared in that bout, he was open to wrestling again but it now sounds like the WWE Hall of Famer really will remain retired moving forward.

"They forced me," Michaels said when asked to reflect on that match. "No, it was a really special thing, and I really felt that one for a while. I’m good with what I’ve done. I no longer want to do it any more." That sounds like a pretty definitive end to his career and closes the door on WrestleMania.

"The only thing better than having your own WrestleMania moment is watching and helping someone with theirs. We had our time, we know the potential of so many of these men and women and we know the joy they can have and we want to pass it on." In other words, he doesn't want to take a spot from someone else and clearly doesn't feel like another match is necessary!

That's a shame but most fans weren't blown away by the Crown Jewel bout so this may be for the best.
