Shawn Michaels came out of retirement to team up with Triple H against The Undertaker and Kane at
Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia and, well, it was pretty underwhelming. There was nothing wrong with the Heartbreak Kid's performance but it was a pointless match in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Since then, fans have been wondering whether we'll see more of Michaels in the ring, possibly against an opponent like Daniel Bryan or AJ Styles.
However, the WWE Hall of Famer (who is currently helping train a new generation of talent in the WWE Performance Center) has now made it clear that he's officially done.
"No," he said when asked about whether he'll wrestle another match.
"I will leave it to the younger generation, they’re doing a fantastic job. I’m good with what has been done and I’m all set."
That's fair enough and it's just a shame his final match wasn't a little more special.
