Although some fans didn't care for how she went about it, Shayna Baszler set a very impressive new record last night in the Elimination Chamber main event.
The Submission Magician entered fourth and dominated from the off, forcing Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Natalya to submit to her Kirifuda Clutch within minutes. Asuka put up a bit more of a fight, but eventually she too succumbed to the devastating choke-hold.
With that victory, Baszler became the first Superstar in WWE history - male or female - to eliminate all other competitors in the Chamber and go on to win the match. Braun Strowman did also dispatch five other men in the 2018 Elimination Chamber, but that match featured seven Superstars in total, and he was ultimately eliminated by Roman Reigns.
It seems clear that WWE is setting Shayna up for a major push, and we wouldn't be at all suprised if she walked out of WrestleMania as the new Raw Women's Champion.
