Shayna Baszler Was Going To Be Called Up to RAW Or SMACKDOWN Before Plans Changed

There have been rumblings for months now that NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler was coming to RAW or SmackDown but, according to Dave Meltzer, those plans have changed. Apparently, that came after NXT moved from the WWE Network to the USA Network.

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa were also being groomed for one of the "main roster" shows a number of months back but they're instead being used in major storylines on the yellow brand.

According to Meltzer, people in WWE are extremely high on Baszler and there were big plans for her on the main roster before it was decided that she would become a key part of NXT for the foreseeable future. She will first captain a team in the first-ever NXT WarGames match at NXT: TakeOver this month before battling Bayley and Becky Lynch at Survivor Series

Are you guys happy with Baszler remaining part of NXT for the time being?
