Since Shelton Benjamin was split from tag team partner Chad Gable, he hasn't really done a whole lot on SmackDown Live apart from losing matches to the likes of Daniel Bryan and Jeff Hardy. Despite that, WWE will no doubt find something for him to do down the line and in a new interview, he's shed some light on who he trusts to call a match in the ring on the fly and know it will still be good.
"There are only a few people in WWE that I would trust having a good match with to just call it in the ring," he said. "Randy Orton, John Cena, AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar and Shinsuke Nakamura." That's high praise indeed for those Superstars and it's interesting to see Nakamura's name included among some WWE veterans who Benjamin has been working with for years now.
As audience members, we obviously don't know when a match is being called like this but it's more commonplace at WWE Live events as opposed to what we see on RAW and SmackDown Live.
