Shelton Benjamin hasn't really been featured as a singles competitor ever since returning to WWE, but that may be about to change because the former Wold's Greatest Tag-Team member seemingly debuted a new "gimmick" last night on SmackDown.

During a backstage interview, Benjamin was asked for his thoughts on the WWE Championship match between Kofi Kingston and Samoa Joe and Extreme Rules, and this was his response.


Shelton is an accomplished amateur wrestler and an absolute badass, but apparently that's not enough to warrant a push in WWE so they've made him a bloody imbecile.
