Shinsuke Nakamura Defeats Jeff Hardy In A Matter Of Seconds To Become The New US Champ At EXTREME RULES

Most of us expected SmackDown's Shinsuke Nakamura to beat Jeff Hardy to become the new United States Champion tonight at Extreme Rules, but could anyone have guessed it would happen in less than a minute?

Shinsuke Nakamura is the new United States Champion, and he won the title in less than a minute.

Before their match at Extreme Rules could even get underway, The Artist hit Jeff Hardy with a low blow, and as soon as the bell rang, he took him out with a devastating Kinshasa to win his first US title.

As Nak was celebrating, Randy Orton's music hit and The Viper made his way to the ring - but rather than attack the new champ, he stomped the prone Hardy right in his already aching crotch.

Definitely a big heel move, but what does this mean for the US title picture now? Hopefully we'll get a better idea this Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE.
