Six Matches Expected To Take Place At SUMMERSLAM Next Month Have Been Revealed - SPOILERS

Money in the Bank is in the rearview and SummerSlam is up next, and a new report claims to reveal a total of six matches WWE will be adding to the PLEs card in the weeks ahead. Read on for details...

At Money in the Bank on Saturday night, Roman Reigns was pinned for the first time since 2019. Jey Uso was the one who got the 1-2-3 on the Tribal Chief, and many fans believe the plan now is for him to challenge his cousin for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the upcoming PLE.

According to Dave Meltzer, that's exactly what's on the way, as he's revealed six matches currently scheduled to take place in Detroit next month.

Those are as follows:

- Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso
- Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
- Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch
- Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair
- GUNTHER vs. Drew McIntyre
- Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler

We're not surprised to see these matches on the card as they all appeared to be a logical next step after what happened in London. Rhodes vs. Lesnar will likely be the culmination of their feud, while the same should apply to Stratus vs. Lynch as well.

Based on the response Rousey has been getting from fans, we're also intrigued to learn who will be the babyface in that match (Baszler earned cheers from the English fans for turning on her tag team partner at Money in the Bank).

None of these bouts have been officially announced yet, but it's said Logan Paul will have an "in-ring showcase" of some sort too. While there's been speculation his opponent might be LA Knight, it was rumoured last week that the YouTuber could feud with The Brawling Brutes' Butch instead.

SummerSlam is one of WWE's four big PLEs (the other three are Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and Survivor Series) so we're definitely expecting the company to pull out all the stops for this upcoming stadium show.

SummerSlam is scheduled to take place at Detroit's Ford Field on Saturday, August 5.
