Two more WWE Superstars have been traded to the SmackDown roster via the new "transfer window" concept WWE has been playing around with for the past month.
In case you missed it, in December, it was announced that there would be moves between the Raw, SmackDown, and NXT brands, with very little explanation or clarification of just how those trades would work or who would be part of it.
For the most part, WWE has used this as a means to allow talent to go between all three shows at random, mostly not committing to anything, but a few names have been officially confirmed, with 2 more happening tonight.
In a backstage segment, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis was speaking to The Miz, who thought he had been invited for his pure star power or to host a MizTV segment to interview Kevin Owens. Instead, Aldis informed him he's now part of the Friday Night SmackDown brand, which immediately upset The A-Lister, as he is now back on the same brand as The Wyatt Sicks, as they had been previously traded over to the SmackDown roster a few weeks ago.
This means when Karrion Kross was talking about moving on from The Wyatt Sicks, it's only going to apply to himself, whereas The Miz is not going to be able to run away from them quite as easily.
Later in the night, Carmelo Hayes went backstage to talk to Nick Aldis about how he had bumped his scheduled match with Jimmy Uso. Aldis informed Hayes that he'll have his match with Uso next week, and instead, he's booked him against his other newest acquisition. This would be revealed to be former world heavyweight champion Damian Priest, finally moving away from The Judgment Day and leaving the Raw roster for the blue brand.
To date, the only other confirmed trade has been Bayley moving over to the Raw roster, but it's also been greatly hinted at that Nia Jax may move over to Raw and Braun Strowman might as well be considered a SmackDown Superstar at this point.
