Following Friday night's episode of SmackDown, fans in Los Angeles' Staples Center were treated to a dark match after the show went off the air. In that, SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair faced RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bianca Belair in a Fatal-4-Way match.
The Boss won the match to send fans home happy, but many in attendance believe there were more signs of tension between The Queen and The Man.
After grabbing the RAW Women's title, Flair dropped it in front of Lynch rather than handing it to her, a nod to the controversial angle on SmackDown a few weeks back. That supposedly led to a heated argument backstage and Flair being escorted out of the building by security.
This could have been just for fun or an indication that there's still tension between the two; either way, it got fans talking, and the excitement for a rematch between the two women continues to build. Their match at Survivor Series certainly left the door open to another bout, with the prevailing theory right now being that the stage is being set for a face-off at WrestleMania next year.
