The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for March 20, 2020 took place at the WWE Performance Center.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— SmackDown kicked off with Michae Cole, Mojo Rawley and Rob Gronkowski talking about how WrestleMania will be two nights hosted by Gronk. King Corbin came out and started to run down Gronkowski. Elias came out to sing about how Corbin sucks. Eventually, Rawley got behind Corbin and Gronk pushed him. Then, Elias threw Corbin out of the ring and Gronk said that while he doesn't officially have the means to make matches, he's going to get Elias vs. Corbin to take place at WrestleMania.
— Daniel Bryan and Drew Gulak beat Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall. After the match, in a backstage segment, Zayn complained that their win was mediocre and that Bryan should be listening to Zayn's tutelage, not Gulak's. Bryan challenged Zayn to put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against him at WrestleMania. Zayn agreed, but only if Gulak is able to beat Shinsuke Nakamura next week.
— Paige had a promo (via Skype) in contention with Bayley and Sasha Banks. Paige announced that Bayley will defend her title at WrestleMania in a Six Pack Challenge elimination match against Lacey Evans, Dana Brooke, Tamina, Naomi and Sasha Banks.
— A rerun of John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt from WrestleMania XXX played.
— Alexa Bliss challenged Asuka to a match next week.
— After John Morrison and The Miz made fun of the blue brand's tag team division on a Dirt Sheet, they beat Heavy Machinery by disqualification. Dolph Ziggler came out during the match to taunt Otis and eventually, Otis was too enraged and used a steel chair on Miz and Morrison.
— Goldberg and Roman Reigns had a contract signing for their upcoming title match, with both basically saying that they were going to win at WrestleMania.
