SMACKDOWN LIVE General Manager Paige Responds To Rumors That She's Cleared To Wrestle

Over the past few days, rumours have been swirling online that SmackDown Live General Manager Paige may have been cleared to wrestle. Those understandably went into overdrive last night when Charlotte Flair was removed from the blue brand's team of women at Survivor Series to face Ronda Rousey as many fans started speculating that Paige could end up being the new fifth member.

Well, as you can see below, Paige has taken to social media to make it clear that she most definitely isn't cleared to wrestle and has no plans to risk being paralysed by competing in the ring again.

Paige suffered a similar neck injury to the one Edge sustained before he was forced to retire and it's no joke. One wrong bump really could result in paralysis from the neck down and it's simply not worth that even if it means both he and Paige are unable to do what they love. She's doing a great job as SmackDown Live's General Manager, though, and that's a role she'll hopefully keep moving forward.
