The latest edition of SmackDown Live for April 16, 2019 took place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who may have missed it:
— Kevin Owens kicked things off with The KO Show and Kofi Kingston. Owens offered his services to help give them backup in place of the injured Big E, who isn't here. He'll be "Big O" for tonight.

— Charlotte Flair defeated Carmella by submission. After the match, Lars Sullivan beat down R-Truth, meaning Sullivan wasn't put on Raw last night as a trade.
— Becky Lynch clarified that she is cross-branded and can go back and forth between Raw and SmackDown as she's the champion for both shows. She was interrupted by Ember Moon and then Bayley (both now on SmackDown), then The IIconics, then Paige, then Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Finally, Paige introduced Asuka and Kairi Sane as her tag team.
— Asuka, Kairi Sane, Bayley and Ember Moon defeated Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville and The IIconics by pinfall
— Buddy Murphy cut a promo on joining the SmackDown roster.
— Kevin Owens, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods defeated Cesaro, Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall
