The latest edition of SmackDown Live for April 2, 2019 took place at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who may have missed it:
— Kevin Owens hosted another edition of The KO Show with guests AJ Styles and Randy Orton. Styles took a shot at Orton failing drug tests and being suspended. Orton called Styles the replacement "corporate bitch" who took over John Cena's place. Owens left the ring to allow the two to fight and Orton got the better of the exchange with an RKO.
— The Usos, Aleister Black and Ricochet defeated The Bar, Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall. After the match, Alexa Bliss announced all four teams will face off in a Fatal 4-Way for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania.
— The IIconics cut a promo on their upcoming title match and how they have so many ways to win the titles.
— The Miz cut a promo on his match with Shane McMahon. He then defeated SAnitY in a 3-on-1 Falls Count Anywhere handicap match.
— Becky Lynch cut a promo on how the next time everyone sees her on SmackDown Live, she'll be a dual champion.
— A mixed tag team match featuring Asuka, Carmella, The Hardy Boyz, Heavy Machinery, Naomi, Nikki Cross and R-Truth vs. Andrade, EC3, The Good Brothers, Lana, Mandy Rose, Shelton Benjamin, Sonya Deville, and Zelina Vega broke down into a big brawl with everyone throwing each other over the top rope to prove a point of who can win the two WrestleMania battle royals. Asuka was the last in the ring after tossing out Jeff Hardy.
— Samoa Joe defeated Ali by submission
— Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston had a contract signing for their WWE Championship match for WrestleMania.
