The latest edition of SmackDown Live for April 9, 2019 took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who may have missed it:

— The New Day's celebration of Kofi Kingston's title win was interrupted by The Bar and Drew McIntyre, who challenged them to a fight later on.

— Ali, Ricochet and Aleister Black defeated Andrade, Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall. Following the match, Randy Orton hit Ali with an RKO out of nowhere. Then, Kevin Owens gave Rusev a stunner.

— R-Truth and Carmella's promo about her WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal victory was cut short when Samoa Joe came out to beat down R-Truth to send a message to everyone in WWE. This prompted Braun Strowman to come out and a fight to erupt, which ended when Joe ran off.

— The IIconics retained the Women's Tag Team Championship over The Brooklyn Belles (Karissa and Kristen) by pinfall

— Shane McMahon cut a promo on The Miz and George Mizanin. He then bullied Greg Hamilton some more about giving him a proper announce job.

— The Hardy Boyz defeated The Usos by pinfall to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship! After the match, Lars Sullivan attacked The Hardy Boyz and laid them out.

— After Becky Lynch cut a promo, she was nailed with another Women's Right by Lacey Evans while her back was turned.

— The New Day defeated The Bar and Drew McIntyre defeated The New Day by pinfall
