Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— Randy Orton started the show with a promo about how Kofi Kingston is "stupid." Kingston came out for a fight, but The Revival provided a backup distraction so Orton could get away.
— Kevin Owens asked Shane McMahon to reconsider the $100,000 fine he slapped him with last week. Later in the night, McMahon agreed, but specified that if Owens were to put his hands on an official again, he would be fired.
— Andrade defeated Apollo Crews by pinfall to advance to Round 2 of the King of the Ring tournament.
— Daniel Bryan and Rowan were interrogating someone backstage all night about the Roman Reigns attacks. It turned out that it was someone who bears a striking resemblance to Rowan.
— On A Moment of Bliss, Charlotte Flair challenged Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Championship at Clash of Champions, which Bayley accepted.
— Buddy Murphy defeated Daniel Bryan by pinfall. Rowan then attacked Murphy backstage.
— Shelton Benjamin seems to be focused on getting under Chad Gable's skin about his height prior to their King of the Ring match.
— Sami Zayn will now be the speaker for Shinsuke Nakamura. They attacked The Miz during a MizTV segment.
— Elias defeated Kevin Owens by pinfall to advance to Round 2 of the King of the Ring tournament due to Shane McMahon doing a fast count.
