The latest edition of SmackDown Live for December 4, 2018 took place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who may have missed it:

— Paige holds a contract signing between Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Asuka. After some trash talk, Becky Lynch leaves. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville come out and Paige books the two of them in an impromptu match against Asuka and Flair. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville defeated Asuka and Charlotte Flair by pinfall due to miscommunication issues.

— Jey Uso defeated Xavier Woods and Cesaro in a Triple Threat match by pinfall

— In an interview, Rusev said he will feast on Shinsuke Nakamura once he gets his hands on him.

— On MizTV, after a momentary dance break interruption from R-Truth and Carmella, The Miz sought to get a straight answer out of Daniel Bryan about him following The Miz's advice. Bryan wouldn't give him the satisfaction, but talked about how he no longer cares what people think, especially because he only did one bad thing on one night, whereas the fickle fans are always doing things like polluting the environment every single day. AJ Styles came out and a brawl started between the three. Styles came up short and The Miz and Bryan didn't quite know what to do with each other.

— Randy Orton defeated Jeff Hardy by pinfall after a distraction from Samoa Joe

AJ Styles defeated The Miz by submission. Daniel Bryan attacks Styles after the match.
