The latest edition of SmackDown Live for June 11, 2019 took place at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— MizTV kicked off the show, with Shane McMahon, Drew McIntyre and Elias. Shane McMahon booked The Miz in a scenario where if he beat Elias and McIntyre, he would get a match with Shane. The Miz defeated Elias, but lost to McIntyre. After the match, Shane called for the referee to ring the bell to have their match anyway, and quickly dispatched The Miz with a submission victory.
— Daniel Bryan and Rowan introduced "the Yolo County tag team champions" AJ Kirsch (former Tough Enough alum) and Dave Dutra. Heavy Machinery came out to challenge Bryan and Rowan to a match, but Bryan said they weren't worthy and would have to beat Kirsch and Dutra. Otis and Tucker won that match and have taken one step closer to a SmackDown tag team title opportunity.
— R-Truth was locked in a storage container backstage while trying to hide. Carmella left him to get ready for her match. Jinder Mahal stumbled across R-Truth's situation and went to "get help"
— With some help from Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville defeated Carmella
— Aleister Black had another segment of asking people to pick a fight with him.
— Bayley defeated Nikki Cross by pinfall
— Jinder Mahal was unable to do anything with R-Truth, as the containers were being loaded up to be shipped off to Raw.
— Apollo Crews is planning on getting some payback for what Andrade did to him last week. Zelina Vega chimed in to basically warn Apollo not to mess with Andrade. The interview ended with Chad Gable checking over Apollo and writing down notes on a clipboard.
— Six-Man Tag Team Match: The New Day defeated Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn by pinfall
