The latest edition of SmackDown Live for June 18, 2019 took place at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— The show started with a promo segment between The New Day and Dolph Ziggler to hype the WWE Championship match for Stomping Grounds. Dolph Ziggler then defeated Xavier Woods by pinfall.

— Shelton Benjamin and The B-Team waited to talk to Baron Corbin backstage about the special guest referee spot.

— Bayley was on A Moment of Bliss, which revolved around Alexa saying everyone treated her like she was worthless in NXT (except for Charlotte Flair), including Bayley, who was supposed to be "the nice one." Bayley called Alexa an entitled princess and they started to fight, with Alexa coming out on top after Nikki Cross stepped in to help.

— Apollo Crews approached Zelina Vega backstage to say that he's looking for Andrade, who then jumped him and beat him down. Chad Gable watched it go down and took some notes in his clipboard.

— Heavy Machinery defeated The B-Team by pinfall. After the match, Seth Rollins attacked Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel with a chair.

— When Shane McMahon was arriving, he was approached by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, who complained that Rollins and Kofi Kingston are bad people. This gave Shane the idea of booking the four of them in a 2-out-of-3 falls tag team match for later.

— Aleister Black spoke some more on how nobody has picked a fight with him.

— Shane McMahon, Elias and Drew McIntyre had a promo segment with The Miz, which led to an elimination tag team match being booked where The Miz could have any partner of his choice, but only had 10 seconds to pick. R-Truth popped up from under the ring and The Miz volunteered him to have a reunion of Awesome Truth.

— Backstage, AOP left Baron Corbin's office and The IIconics talked to Paige and The Kabuki Warriors. If Asuka and Kairi Sane beat Peyton Royce and Billie Kay at the upcoming Tokyo event, they'll get a tag team title shot.

— R-Truth was eliminated first in the tag team elimination match, and then ran off when everyone started chasing him for the 24/7 Championship. The Miz then lost by pinfall, so Drew McIntyre and Elias came out on top. The Miz was then beaten down after the match to further prove a point.

— Backstage, Ember Moon was looking for Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville and bumped into Carmella, who was looking for R-Truth. Carmella said she still has unfinished business with Rose and Deville. Moon then immediately came across Rose and Deville eating donuts. She said she's been dealing with people like them her entire life and after they made fun of her some more, they started to fight until referees broke it up.

— Drake Maverick, dressed as Carmella, surprised R-Truth in the parking lot and managed to roll him up for a pin, winning the 24/7 Championship. Maverick then hopped into the referee's car and drove off to get married, leaving R-Truth confused that Carmella never told him she was going to get married.

— 2-out-of-3 Falls Tag Team Match: Sami Zayn immediately took a pinfall from Kofi Kingston's Trouble in Paradise. The next fall was Seth Rollins pinning Kevin Owens after a stomp, giving Rollins and Kingston a 2-0 win over Owens and Zayn.
