The latest edition of SmackDown Live for June 25, 2019 took place at the Moda Center in Portland, OR.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Dolph Ziggler interrupted a New Day promo to set up a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match wherein if he could beat Kofi Kingston, he'd be inserted into the WWE Championship match for Extreme Rules alongside Samoa Joe.

— The New Day defeated Daniel Bryan and Rowan by pinfall. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn attacked Big E and Xavier Woods after the match. Heavy Machinery came out to help, which turned things into an eight-man tag team match. Tucker pinned Zayn for the win.

— 2-out-of-3 Falls Match: Elias defeated The Miz. Shane McMahon hit Coast to Coast on The Miz after the match.

— Shinsuke Nakamura inserted himself into the Intercontinental Championship picture by showing up during an interview between Kayla Braxton and Finn Balor.

— Nikki Cross defeated Bayley by pinfall to earn Alexa Bliss a title shot for Extreme Rules.

— Sonya Deville defeated Ember Moon by pinfall
