The latest edition of SmackDown Live for June 4, 2019 took place at the Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, TX.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— The show started with a promo between Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler. Kingston and Xavier Woods then defeated Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn by pinfall in a tag team match. Ziggler attacked Kingston and Woods after the match.

— Alexa Bliss had Bayley on as her guest for A Moment of Bliss, which Carmella and Charlotte Flair crashed to set up a match for later to determine who would challenge Bayley at Stomping Grounds.

— Elias defeated R-Truth by pinfall in a Lumberjack Match to win the 24/7 Championship. Moments later, R-Truth pinned Elias underneath the ring to regain the title and run away from the rest of the lumberjacks who were battling each other in the ring.

— With help from The Revival and Drew McIntyre, Shane McMahon beat down Roman Reigns.

— Alexa Bliss defeated Carmella and Charlotte Flair (by pinning Carmella) in their Triple Threat match to become the No. 1 contender for the SmackDown Women's Championship, after some help from Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, who specifically targeted Carmella during the match.

— Kayla Braxton interviewed Lars Sullivan in the ring. He explained that he's been called a freak his entire life, and his "primary function" is to show everyone how the world is not just rainbows, which is why he's been attacking everybody.

— Andrade was scheduled to face Apollo Crews, but they didn't have a match. Andrade jumped the gun and started attacking Apollo when he was getting into the ring. Then, Finn Balor came out and momentarily fought with Andrade.

— Goldberg cut a promo on finally getting his match with The Undertaker he's always wanted. He reassures The Phenom that at Super ShowDown, he won't be getting the family man version of himself. He's getting the ass-kicker. The lights go off and when they come back, The Undertaker is in the ring. They go off again at the sound of another gong and The Deadman has disappeared.
