The latest edition of SmackDown Live for November 13, 2018 took place at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, MO.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who may have missed it:
— Becky Lynch has officially been removed from the Survivor Series card after injuries she suffered on last night's Raw.
— AJ Styles cuts a promo on his match against Brock Lesnar before Paul Heyman appears and says Styles is the #2 best in-ring performer behind Daniel Bryan. Bryan comes out to say if Styles mentions him again, he's going to punch him in the face and, lo and behold, they come to blows. Shane McMahon and officials separate them. After the commercial, they keep fighting backstage until Shane McMahon announces Styles will defend the title against Bryan tonight.
— Jeff Hardy defeated Andrade "Cien" Almas by pinfall. After the match, The Miz replaces Daniel Bryan on Team SmackDown with Jeff Hardy. He then tries to take Rey Mysterio off the team, but Paige interferes and says if he wants to take Mysterio off the team, he has to beat him in a match.
— Shinsuke Nakamura is interviewed by Dasha Fuentes. He says he's going to break Seth Rollins' face at Survivor Series.
— Rey Mysterio defeated The Miz by pinfall. He keeps his spot on Team SmackDown. Randy Orton tries to attack Mysterio after the match, but Rey evades him. Out of frustration, Orton hits Miz with an RKO.
— Paige introduces the entire women's roster for SmackDown, as well as Becky Lynch, who will handpick her replacement to face Ronda Rousey in her stead since she's been medically disqualified from competition. Becky chooses Charlotte Flair. They hug it out.
— The Bar and Big Show defeated The New Day by pinfall
— The other three teams for the tag team elimination match are The Colons, SAnitY and The Good Brothers. There is still an empty slot for the women's team.
— Daniel Bryan defeated AJ Styles by pinfall/submission to win the WWE Championship! He will now face Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series instead of Styles. He did so with a low-blow and after the match, he continued to beat down Styles. Heel turn confirmed.
