The latest edition of SmackDown Live for October 30, 2018 took place at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who may have missed it:

— AJ Styles calls out Daniel Bryan, so he can apologize about what went down last week. Bryan reiterates that he has the utmost respect for Styles, but he has his sights on the WWE Championship. Styles admits his Pele Kick was on purpose and says they don't have to wait until Crown Jewel to do their title match. Shane McMahon comes out to say it's a good idea and books the match for right then and there.

— AJ Styles defeated Daniel Bryan by submission to retain the WWE Championship. After the match, the two shook hands and hugged, before Samoa Joe jumped Styles. Bryan attempted to make the save, but Joe put Bryan to sleep for his efforts.

— Paige asks Charlotte Flair if she'll be the captain of Team SmackDown for the women's Survivor Series elimination match. She says she doesn't know if she's the right woman for the job, but Paige asks her to think about it.

— Trick or Street Fight: Big E defeated Cesaro by pinfall

— Shinsuke Nakamura defeated R-Truth by pinfall

— Becky Lynch cuts a promo on how she'll beat Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series.

— Rey Mysterio and Jeff Hardy defeated The Miz and Randy Orton by pinfall. Randy Orton gave everyone an RKO after the match.
