SMACKDOWN LIVE Is Officially Getting A New Title For Its Move To FOX

Over the past few weeks, we've been referring to the blue brand as SmackDown Live, SmackDown, and Friday Night SmackDown. So, what's the show's name now it's moving to FOX? We finally have an official answer.

SmackDown has gone through many changes over the years and the same will be the case once it moves to FOX next Friday. In recent weeks, the show has been referred to in a number of ways but after being rebranded to SmackDown Live back in 2016, we now know that it will officially be called Friday Night SmackDown

This makes sense as it's what WWE's announcers have been referring to it as and the logo and press releases being sent out to the media also use that moniker.

It's a bit of a mouthful, that's for sure, and it's surprising the word "live" isn't in there anywhere. However, WWE clear wants to get viewers familiar with the show's new night and it honestly wouldn't be all that surprising if the "Friday Night" is dropped after a while.
