SMACKDOWN LIVE Ratings Also Increased Thanks To The Fallout From STOMPING GROUNDS

Stomping Grounds may have struggled in terms of ticket sales and PPV buys but wrestling fans were clearly intrigued to see what happened next based on the ratings for SmackDown Live on Tuesday night...

This week's episode of SmackDown Live managed to draw a total of 1.921 million viewers.

That's an increase of 3.3% compared to the previous week's 1.859 million viewers but is sadly still the fourth-lowest audience for the show outside of the holiday period. Featuring the fallout from the Stomping Grounds PPV and a 2 out of 3 Falls match with WWE Champion Koif Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler, it was a mostly entertaining episode.

However, nothing really major happened and SmackDown Live currently feels a lot like RAW-lite, the very thing that led to a lot of fans tuning out before the brand split. With any luck, though, that will change when the blue brand moves to FOX.

What did you guys think about this week's show?
