SMACKDOWN LIVE Ratings Also Remained Steady This Week With HELL IN A CELL On The Horizon

It appears as if WWE has done a solid job of maintaining interest between SummerSlam and Hell in a Cell because ratings are in for SmackDown Live and, just like RAW this Monday, they're surprisingly steady.

Not a huge amount happened on this week's episode of SmackDown Live but WWE did move along quite a few different storylines, including AJ Styles' rivalry with Samoa Joe and the ongoing war between married couples (and reality TV stars) Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella and The Miz and Maryse. Now, the ratings for the show are in and things are looking pretty good for the blue brand.

This Tuesday's episode of SmackDown Live drew a total of 2,319,000 viewers. That's down slightly from last week's 2,350,000 viewers but not a significant drop and a pretty solid hold to be fair.

It's common for WWE to suffer quite a drop after a big PPV like SummerSlam but the company has clearly done a good job of maintaining interest moving into Hell in a Cell next week. With any luck, this quality level of storytelling with continue into both Australia's Super-Show Down and Evolution
