SMACKDOWN LIVE Ratings Continue To Increase As WRESTLEMANIA Draws Near

Since the New Year, ratings for SmackDown Live have steadily declined but with WrestleMania now looming and the show setting up some big matches for the Showcase of the Immortals, things are turning around in a big way for the blue brand. This Tuesday's instalment drew a total of 2,771,000 viewers, quite the increase from last week's still solid total of 2,590,000 viewers.

That makes sense considering the show was dealing with the fallout from Fastlane on Sunday and it obviously did a lot to advance some big storylines as WrestleMania gets closer and closer.

After all, we had a confrontation between WWE Champion AJ Styles and challenger Shinsuke Nakamura, more destruction from The Bludgeon Brothers, and Shane McMahon getting a (well-deserved?) beatdown from Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, presumably setting up another WrestleMania bout.
