SMACKDOWN LIVE Ratings Dip Again Despite Shinsuke Nakamura's ROYAL RUMBLE Win

Shinsuke Nakamura emerged victorious in this year's Royal Rumble match but SmackDown Live ratings continue to fall as the show didn't seem to benefit from the King of Strong Style's big win at the PPV.

SmackDown Live ratings have been on the decline for a while now and while the numbers have only dropped a small amount since the New Year, you have to believe WWE may look at doing something about that soon. This Tuesday's episode did 2,509,000 viewers, down from last week's 2,580,000 viewers.

Considering the fact Shinsuke Nakamura won the Royal Rumble and this episode of SmackDown Live was the first show after that, it's a surprise the numbers didn't get a significant boost. However, it was still #8 in the top 150 shows on cable that night and these are by no means bad numbers. You have to believe that Vince McMahon will want to shake things up to try and increase viewership, though.

What that will
be remains to be seen but WrestleMania is fast approaching, so expect things to head up soon. What did you guys think of this week's episode of SmackDown Live? Sound off below.
