This week's episode of SmackDown Live saw the tension between Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan continue to increase, while AJ Styles did battle with Sami Zayn in the main event before learning that he'll have to put the WWE Championship on the line against both him and Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble PPV in a Handicap match. So, how did all that ultimately translate to ratings?

Well, this Tuesday's show nabbed 2,720,000 million viewers in total, an increase from last week's 2,656,000 million viewers. That puts it very close to RAW which averaged 2,865,000 million viewers.

It's also worth noting that this episode of SmackDown Live beat the Christmas Day episode of RAW, a sign that the flagship show is getting closer and closer
every week to being topped by the "B-show!"  What did you think of this latest instalment of the long-running series? Share your thoughts below.
