There was no sign of AJ Styles on this week's SmackDown Live but Randy Orton once again stole the show with his new heel persona, Samoa Joe delivered a vicious message to The Phenomenal One, Daniel Bryan challenged The Miz to a match at SummerSlam, and both the tag team and women's title pictures started getting a whole lot clearer with the PPV now just a matter of weeks away.

With so much great content on the show, it probably won't surprise you to learn that ratings increased this week as SmackDown Live drew a total of 2,401,000 viewers and ranked #1 on cable.

That's up from last Tuesday's 2,340,000 and a good sign for the blue brand moving into SummerSlam. So far, the show is adding a lot of great matches to the PPV and with the #1 contenders for the Tag Team Championships set to be decided next week and Styles' return confirmed, we have a lot to look forward to. What did you think of this week's show? Share your thoughts in the usual place.
