The latest edition of SmackDown Live for April 3, 2018 took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN.
Here are the results of what transpired during the show:
— Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon start the night off by apologizing to each other for their arguing over the past few months and hug it out.
— Charlotte Flair defeated Natalya by submission. Carmella attempted to cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase before the end of the match, but wasn't able to do so, and did not lose her title shot.
— Rusev defeated Jinder Mahal by pinfall. After the match, Randy Orton hits Rusev with an RKO out of nowhere before taking out Aiden English as well, with a little bit of help from Bobby Roode.
— Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, Primo Colon and Dolph Ziggler defeated Breezango, Tye Dillinger and Zack Ryder by pinfall (Corbin pinned Fandango)
— Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens jump the barricade and cut a promo on top of the commentary table about how they're going to embarrass Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan, and beating them will be their WrestleMania moment. Their mics are cut off and they're escorted out of the ringside area. Bryan and McMahon come out to say this is history, because it's the last time we'll see Owens and Zayn on SmackDown Live, before singing "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" per usual.
— AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin. After the match, Benjamin assaults Nakamura, who disposes of him. Styles pretends to hit The Phenomenal Forearm and pulls it at the last second before patting Nakamura on the head, evening the odds with what Nakamura did to him before.
