The latest edition of SmackDown Live for June 5, 2018 took place at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Here are the results of what transpired during the show:

— Carmella starts the show with a promo and a video package about Asuka's history, including her loss at WrestleMania and against The IIconics. Asuka heads to the ring, looking for a fight, and is followed by Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Paige comes out to give Asuka a choice of which two members of Absolution she wants to fight. Asuka chooses both.

— Asuka defeated Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in a handicap match by submission (Deville taps out)

— In the locker room, The New Day convince The Miz to help them pick their participant in the Money in the Bank ladder match, showing him a hat with pieces of paper inside. They blindfold him and replace it with a hat filled with pancake batter as a prank.

— Karl Anderson defeated Harper by pinfall with a roll-up.

— Jimmy Uso and Naomi defeated Aiden English and Lana by pinfall

— In a pre-taped segment backstage, Paige moderates a contract signing between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura plays around by saying a pen is out of ink and AJ's is broken. Styles hits him and is taken away. Nakamura signs the contract with a pen he had in his jacket and says "last man standing" before leaving.

— Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte Flair by submission

— Dasha Fuentes talks to Samoa Joe, who hypes up his eventual Money in the Bank win and the path of destruction everyone has coming to them when he grabs that briefcase.

— Big Cass cuts a promo on what he's going to do to Daniel Bryan at Money in the Bank.

— Dasha Fuentes speaks to Sin Cara, who says he's known Andrade "Cien" Almas since he was 14 years old and considered him a brother. Zelina Vega interrupts to say she taught Almas how not to be weak and that they have a match against Sin Cara next week. Almas jumps Sin Cara from behind and leaves him clutching his arm as he gets checked on.

— The New Day defeated Samoa Joe, The Miz and Rusev by pinfall
