The latest edition of SmackDown Live for May 29, 2018 took place at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC.

Here are the results of what transpired during the show:

— Samoa Joe cuts a promo about how he'll win the Money in the Bank qualifying match for tonight by taking out Daniel Bryan, who interrupts to defend his honor. Big Cass interrupts both of them to state that he's cleared to compete and will get his shot to qualify, taking both of them out with his crutch and the briefcase.

— Absolution bumps into Paige backstage to complain about her making mistakes, like Asuka getting a title shot. Paige books a match for Mandy Rose against Asuka for later. She also clarifies that the qualifying match will be a triple threat between Samoa Joe, Big Cass and Daniel Bryan.

— Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Tye Dillinger by pinfall

— AJ Styles tells Dasha Fuentes that Shinsuke Nakamura might think he has the advantage, but he's going to walk out of Money in the Bank with the WWE Championship.

— Lana (accompanied by Rusev Day) and Naomi (accompanied by The Usos) have a dance off, which dissolves into a fight when Lana gives Naomi a neckbreaker.

— The New Day defeated The Miz and The Bar by pinfall (Big E pinned The Miz)

— Asuka defeated Mandy Rose by submission

— Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch tell each other backstage that despite being friends, they both plan on winning the Money in the Bank. Paige pops up to say she loves the competitive spirit and it reminds her of their time together as the stable PCB. Next week, Becky and Charlotte will face each other.

— Sin Cara goes to say hi to Andrade "Cien" Almas, but is cut off by Zelina Vega, who shuts him down.

— Samoa Joe qualifies for the Money in the Bank ladder match by defeating Big Cass and Daniel Bryan after Bryan taps out.
