SMACKDOWN LIVE Superstar Chad Gable Made His Unexpected 205 LIVE Debut Last Night

205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick promised fans a surprise on this week's 205 Live and they got one with the debut on SmackDown Live Superstar Chad Gable. While it's heartbreaking to think a wrestler described as the next Kurt Angle is being wasted on that show, he has still been appearing backstage on the blue brand lately so he may pull double duty.

Either way, WWE got things off to an underwhelming start with a match which saw him defeat Jack Gallagher...via count out.

Yes, they couldn't even give him a decent victory for his debut! On SmackDown Live, Gable has been shown backstage taking notes during various promos for wrestlers so who knows what they have planned for him there.

Right now, however, it doesn't seem as if his future is looking overly bright in WWE...
