There have been persistent rumors that Daniel Bryan was considering leaving WWE to wrestle on the independent scene once his current contract expires, but, thankfully, that doesn't appear to be the case.

Bryan spoke with The Business Times while touring in Japan, and while he didn't officially confirm that he's planning to resign, he did say there's a "good chance" that he will.

The wrestling world is an interesting world right now," Daniel admitted when quizzed about his future with the company. "But I love working with WWE, and my wife [Brie Bella] is a part of WWE and so there’s a good chance I’ll re-sign."

Care to join me in a premature, but optimistic YES! chant?

Hopefully we'll get official word on this soon, but it's looking good.
