It appears that the rumors about Sin Cara signing a three-year deal with WWE are not true.

It was reported yesterday that the Smackdown Live superstar had inked a new deal with the company, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

The news came alongside AJ Styles officially re-signing with WWE, who confirmed the reports by posting a tweet of his new dog and simply stating that’s he’s signed a new contract. Sin Cara addressed those same rumors as well, taking a page out of AJ Styles’ book by posting a picture of his dog and shot down rumors that he’s extended his time with the company:

The 41-year-old is currently out with an injury he suffered in the latter of 2018; however, he has been seen down at the Performance Center training for an in-ring return. There’s no word on when Sin Cara’s current deal with the company ends nor is there a timeline for when he’ll make his return to WWE television.
