SMACKDOWN LIVE Superstar Tye Dillinger Return To NXT This Weekend For Non-Televised Event

It appears as if Superstars from the main roster returning to NXT at non-televised events is going to become a regular occurrence as the Perfect 10 Tye Dillinger made a surprise appearance over the weekend.

If you just so happened to be in Orlando watching NXT Live over the weekend then you may have found yourself surprised to see Tye Dillinger return to the developmental brand to take on (and ultimately defeat) Marcel Barthel. It was only last weekend that The Revival and Tyler Breeze also showed up at non-televised NXT events, of course, so what's the deal with this becoming a regular occurrence?

It's simple. WWE has too many Superstars on the main roster and the company can now afford to send some fan-favourites back to NXT to surprise fans and help rookie wrestlers improve their skills.

Unfortunately, it can't be a good feeling for those being sent back for these small shows to know that the company has no plans for them and is happy to put them back in NXT in front of a crowd of hundreds but it does make business sense and, as we know, WWE always does what's best for business!
