Jeff Hardy recently debuted on SmackDown LIVE and captured the United States Championship, but a new report indicates that he is still dealing with some nagging injuries.

According to he Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer, Hardy has been working through a leg injury as well as the previously reported nerve issues. Up until now, The Charismatic Enigma has been involved in short four-way matches on the road in which he hasn’t been doing the Swanton Bomb as his finish.

It's unclear if Hardy is going to need to take some more time off to heal, but it seems likely. If that is the case, expect him to drop the US title at some point over the next few weeks.
