Ever since the "Wild Card" rule was introduced by WWE, SmackDown Live has gone from being the wrestling heavy show loved by fans to "RAW-lite." As a result, it more than likely won't surprise you to learn that the show once again fell beneath 2 million viewers.
With a heavy focus on Shane McMahon for almost the entire first hour and a main event pitting The New Day against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Dolph Ziggler, SmackDown Live drew 1.930 million viewers, a 4.2% drop from the previous Tuesday's 2.016 million viewers the go home show for Super ShowDown received.
SmackDown Live was #5 for the night in terms of viewership behind Hannity, Tucker Carlson Tonight, The Ingraham Angle, and Rachel Maddow Show.
These numbers come shortly after RAW drew its lowest rating in history outside of Christmas Day and New Year's. What did you guys think about Tuesday's night's episode? Let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section below.
