WWE has said on a number of occasions that you never know who might appear at an NXT Live event and in recent months, a number of main roster Superstars have made surprise appearances at shows for the developmental brand. Well, we can now count former SmackDown Tag Team Champion Luke Harper among them as he showed up in Buffalo, New York last night to challenge Ricochet.

He was able to retain the NXT North American Championship in a match which fans in the building have had nothing but good things to say about and RAW's Tyler Breeze was also part of this show.

The reason Harper was used here is
because WWE Creative has nothing for him right now and that's because Erick Rowan is out with an injury, thereby leaving The Bludgeon Brothers one man down. With any luck, though, this match will show those in charge just how good Harper is as a singles star.
