The ratings are in for Friday night's episode of SmackDown and while it's not bad news for WWE, they may be somewhat disappointed. Despite it being the go-home show for the Royal Rumble PPV, it managed to draw only 2.470 million viewers. Last week, it averaged a total of 2.580 million viewers.

Hour one managed to pull in 2.548 million viewers and hour two dropped to 2.391 million viewers.

SmackDown was #6 for the night among the networks in terms of viewership which was actually an increase from the previous Friday's #8 ranking. In terms of demographics, the blue brand was #1 for the night with a 0.7 rating in the 18 - 49 demographic. That was down from the 0.8 the show did last Friday.

It was a solid episode but this could be a sign that WWE needs to introduce some fresh storylines on the Road to WrestleMania...
