Friday night's episode of SmackDown was headlined by a confrontation between WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg and The Fiend, while the show also featured the return of The Bella Twins, a #1 contender's match for Bayley's Women's Championship, and a huge eight-man tag team match.

How did that translate to ratings? Well, the overnight numbers are in, and the episode ended up drawing a total of 2.490 million viewers. That's a slight increase from last Friday's 2.482 million viewers.

Hour one drew 2.542 million viewers, while the second hour dipped only slightly with 2.438 million viewers. SmackDown did an average 0.70 rating in the 18 - 49 demographic which made it #1 for the night. This was good news for WWE, especially as this Friday's episode served as the go home show for the upcoming Super ShowDown PPV.

What did you guys think of SmackDown?
