SMACKDOWN Superstars The Revival Reportedly Asked For Their WWE Release (Again) Last Week

It appears The Revival are serious about leaving WWE because even big money offers clearly aren't going to convince them to stick around. Why? Well, according to a new report, they've requested their release...

According to Bryan Alvarez on the latest Wrestling Observer Live, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson - a.k.a. The Revival - once again asked for their release from WWE last week. That marks the second time they've done so and, just like on that occasion, the company has said "no."

Apparently, they're desperate to get out of the company but WWE is all too aware that they would head straight for All Elite Wrestling so plan on keeping them around for the full lengths of their contracts.

That won't be too much longer, though, as they should be free to make their escape shortly after WrestleMania. The issue with The Revival isn't money as WWE has offered them big money contracts to stick around; instead, they're unhappy with how they're used creatively (which is no great surprise with reports swirling that they're going to be booked in a comedy role).

Stay tuned for updates as we have them!
