Following the news that WWE has reached a huge $1 billion deal with Fox to move SmackDown Live to Friday nights on the network, one of the biggest questions from fans has been whether or not the show will remain a live broadcast or if WWE is going to go back to taping it on a Tuesday again.

In the past, WWE taped it the night after RAW in order to save money (something which is no longer an issue thanks to that big money contract) but we know that Fox is looking for live programming so it probably won't surprise you to learn that SmackDown Live won't be dropping the "Live." This is ultimately good for everyone involved seeing as a live broadcast has a much wider appeal to fans.

After all, being able to read spoilers days before the show airs
is going to take the gloss off it and it's also not as exciting for those in attendance. As always, stay tuned for updates as we have them!
